A Little About Myself | 71 year-old female who has mobility problems due to MS. |
Pros | The AmeriGlide mobility scooter is very lightweight. It's quick to disassemble and reassemble for loading into car trunk, when traveling. Very comfortable seat. |
Cons | Doesn't feel real sturdy. Wonder how well it will "stand up" over time? |
Service & Delivery | Excellent. Was here in just a few days after ordering it. |
I haven't really used it very much yet to give a very accurate evaluation. We'll be going on a trip soon, so will be going thru the airport and gate checking it. Will be using it more while on our trip so will be giving it a better test.

A Little About Myself | Fun loving Grandma |
Pros | I took my new AmeriGlide scooter to the boardwalk and no-one could keep up with me. It really moves even though I am close to the weight limit. I went for a ride through the park, that we were staying at and it even went over all the speed bumps with no problem. |
Cons | No cons. I love it |
Service & Delivery | Delivery was on time and hassle free. |
Thank you to the salesman who helped when I called. You guys, are by far the easiest company that I have ever dealt with online.

A Little About Myself | 70 years-old with broken leg and long recovery time. |
Pros | Easy to use. |
Cons | There are no brakes and nowhere to put your feet. |
Service & Delivery | Good and fast |
We have had some laughs because of the speed the AmeriGlide Traveler goes at. My husband ran into the nightstand with it, bringing it to me one morning. My nail lady almost ran me under the table, just swinging the seat around and helping me to back into the table to get my nails done without getting up. It goes really fast when it starts.

Pros | The best thing about the AmeriGlide Traveler is its price. This is the absolute lowest amount you'll pay for a mobility scooter. If you only use a scooter casually or have recently had surgery or suffered from a condition that causes temporary mobility loss, the Traveler gives you good performance at an economical price point. |
Cons | Since this is a travel model, the weight capacity is only 275 pounds. The Traveler's low clearance height also means that it's better suited for indoor use or on smooth surfaces - you won't be taking this model "off road"! |
A 4 mph top speed and 8 mile range per charge are excellent ratings for a lightweight travel model such as this scooter. Most travel models only support 250 pounds, so the 275 weight capacity is a cut above much of the competition.
