I broke my femur and hip two years ago and have had a problem getting around since then. This scooter is great! I can go anywhere again and not worry about getting tired or being in pain. I did a lot of research and found this one to be the best price anywhere. I love this scooter and I am very happy with my purchase.

Pros | Well priced. Small enough to navigate in stores and other tight places. Simple to learn to use. I like the power feed. Real smooth to operate. |
Cons | A little slow if you have some distance to travel. Little horn is a joke. |
Service & Delivery | I found it easy to get out of the packing crate and easy to assemble. No complaints in that area. |
This scooter is definately well worth the price. Simple to operate.

A Little About Myself | Young at heart but activity limited by pulmonary hypertension, which is progressive but there is no cure. Fortunately there are treatments that slow the progression. |
Pros | Portability
Price |
Cons | A little tippy if you are too fast or aggresive with curbs, etc. (Learned my lesson there) |
Service & Delivery | Ordered on a Friday and it was on our front porch on Wednesday. WOW!!!! |
We camp alot and it has been so uplifting to my spirit to be able to "hike" again. Most state and national parks have a few handicap accessible trails that are fine for the scooter. Since we usually camp without electricity, we were quite pleased to be able to recharge with our solar panel.
I can zip up to the community swimming pool so my exercise level is better and I'm getting stronger.

A Little About Myself | I am 78 years old and handicapped by Parkinson's Disease |
Pros | You can't beat the price and quality of the AmeriGlide 3 Wheel Traveler that I purchased from All Electric Scooters. This was my first scooter. I wanted a scooter that I could take apart quickly and lift the pieces into my trunk. I've taken the scooter apart and put it back together. I've lifted each piece, but I haven't had a chance to take a trip. It comes with a detailed owner's manual that you had better read several times because the scooter will sound it's horn at you if you don't do it right. |
Cons | Manual should have mentioned that there is a snap mechanism to release each of the battery harnesses from the body. This is not the scooter for hills or tilted sidewalks. What seems like a modest incline can stop you cold and a tilted patio can tip you over. This happened to me on my first day. When that happens it's best to get out and push. With experience I should be able to judge what to tackle. |
Service & Delivery | The delivery came in only a few days. I had an empty garage open to receive the large container. Within a few days I had the scooter up and running. |
The AmeriGlide 3 Wheel Traveler provides a quality product at less than half the price of some other scooters. With experience on this scooter, one is in a better position to decide what additional features, if any, justify a more expensive model.

It's great so far. I want to find out about taking it to Spain now. I know about having a different plug in, what I need to know if I have to buy a special transformer for it or just a regular that I have now for my order items that I take there now.
